Description: clock, hawker in the form of man carrying clocks for sale, clock in front is miniature of typical Black Forest clocks of the period, the movement of brass is a timepiece only with tic-tac escapement and a small silk suspended pendulum (missing), dial is in shape of a break-arch, painted dial but the numerals are provided by an old enamelled watch dial, probably scrapped from a verge watch for the purpose, the figure carries a clock on his chest and back (the one on his back is for effect only), and three pendulums in his left hand and he stands on a rectangular wooden base.
