Koruru
Description: koruru, gable mask, carved with rauponga on areas of the face. It has large, circular protruding eyes, and a low-relief circle carved with rauponga, above these. The koruru also has a large open mouth with extended curved tongue. Although the surface is worn, much of the red paint remains.
