This is the sketchbook of NZ Army Nursing Service Corps Sister Mary Gould, it documents her life throughout WWI and the people she met along the way.

As is typical with a sketchbook, contributors appear to have opened a page at random and contributed as they saw fit. People and patients have added pieces to Mary’s sketchbook throughout her journeys and whilst on the hospital ship H.M.H.S. Gascon she had a sketch signed by 18 of the patients and crew.
