    Papers relating mostly to the 3rd New Zealand Division which saw active service in the Pacific during the Second World War. Includes correspondence and notes on Bourail Monument, the history of the Division, Major-General Sir Harold Barrowclough, and Major-General Walter S. McKinnon.

    Folder 1 -- Graduation List (photocopy) for Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force in the Pacific, 1 May 1944. (27 leaves)

    Folder 2 -- Correspondence regarding NZ Military Cemetery at Bourail, New Calidonia and caretaker M. Quenneville, 1968. (8 letters)

    Folder 3 -- Papers regarding Bourail Memorial. Includes photographs, lists of names, Service Order of Dedication, Letters regarding Captain Jean Gilbert (some in French), the Bourail Memorial Register, Information on numbers buried at Bourail, and Copies of Decrees regarding land (some in French).

    Folder 4 -- Correspondence regarding erecting a plaque to 3NZ Army Division in Honiara, Solomon Islands, 1987 - 1988.

    Folder 5 -- Miscellaneous papers. Includes Correspondence and papers regarding 'Canteen Notes' 1994, Article 'Kiwis ashore - The Battle for Mono' by John Crawford from NZ Defence Quarterly, Summer 1993, Various parts of Newsletters some from 1994, and letter regarding VJ parade in Auckland, 24 August 1995.

Includes List of 'Units of 3NZ Division and Base and 2NZEFIP' (typescript, 4 leaves), List of 'Unofficial histories of 3NZ Division' (typescript; 1 leaf), and Text of news item regarding landing at Treasuries 17 November 1943 and Air raid on Stirling Island 12 January 1944 (typescript; 1 leaf).
