      Adeline was the daughter of Albert Horton McKay who was a Maori interpreter and Celia Greening.
      Adeline Celia McKay married Albert Stewart the son of Charles Stewart and his first wife Lily Awhiahua Teta.
      Adeline and Albert's children were Horton Oliphant, Bertrand, Charles, Hiraina (died infancy) Hineroa, Florence, Donald, Robert (died in WW1) Vivienne, Leslie and Pauline.
