The Premier has presented to each member of the legislature a set of fifty photographs as a souvenir of his recent trip to the Pacific Islands. Each picture is placed upon a specially-designed mount, and the whole set is enclosed in a neat box bearing the words, “Beautiful Isles of the Sea, a souvenir of the Premier’s trip to the Pacific Isles.” The views and groups are excellently taken, and make an interesting record. The “Post” observes that the Premier has shown commendable self-abnegation in the selection of the pictures, in that there are only seven in which Mr Seddon figures prominently."
