    "Mrs John Mcdonald, nee Christina McColl; Born 1827 died 1911 aged 84 years, was the daughter of Duncan and Catherine McColl. Christina McColl married John McDonald at Muskuern (Scotland) in 1846. They emigrated from (Oban) with five of a family and arrived in Auckland in April 1865 on the Sailing ship 'Viola' the journey from Glasgow taking 4 months. After arrival two further children were born, Archibald McDonald born 1867, and Mary Porter born 1871."
