    Victorian interior, with dining table and chairs, tapa cloth hanging by the fireplace. Self portrait displayed on the mantelpiece amongst other unidentified photographs. Self portrait features Margaret Matilda White wearing a kahu huruhuru (feather cloak) made of white, black and patterned bird feathers, over a black dress. A korowai (woven tasselled cloaks) with black hukahuka (tassels) is hung behind her. Moko kauae drawn on her lips and chin.

    Clock and taxidermy bird on the centre of the mantelpiece. Tiger cowrie shell (cypraea tigris) and coral displayed on a shelf above the tapa. Dried Pampas grass displayed in vases on the mantelpiece.
