    "This series will consist of a number of climatological notes for islands and groups in the South Pacific Area. These are being prepared in the Meteorological Office, Wellington, under the editorship of Flight Lieutenant C.J. Seelye. They will be issued as they become available. [...]. Each note on the climate will follow the same general order: General, wind, visibility, cloud, rain, temperature, humidity, thunder, and sea.

    IN the case of current reporting stations, wind roses will be drawn as far as possible for the various synoptic hours. Each note will include a detailed climatological table."--Introductory note.
