Field Collection Notes
New incursion, west of the the Quarantine building at the end of the mown area behind the solar panels, between a large sheet of black plastic covered in fire wood (chopped up pohutukawa) and vegetation (pururi tree & muehlenbeckia margin). Spreading out into the muehlenbeckia covered rock fields to the west, covering an area of 5m in length x 0.5m wide. Many mature seeding plants >1m tall. (Other seeding plants seen on the eastern side of the bunkhouse, around the gas tanks on the east-facing bunkhouse wall, around the forest margin by compost bins and alongside the big plastic sheet under the pohutukawa (installed to eliminate veldt grass incursion) plus a few seeding plants in the lawn. Probably being moved around by mowing and grass clipping distribution). Collected as part of a weed survey, Nov 2022. Duplicate sent to Hauturu
