Tutanekai : Ko Tawa project 2004-2007

  • Description

    The ancestral meeting house, Tutanekai, was destroyed by fire in November 2003. This book visually documents the ceremonial reopening at the Owhata marae, Hinemoa Point, Rotorua, on 3 June 2006.

    It also follows the Ko Tawa exhibition from Tamaki Paenga Hira to Rotorua Museum and thence on to Sydney, Australia.
