    Supports the Tikanga a Iwi Matauranga, and assists teachers in meeting its achievements across the five strands at levels 3 and 4. Central to the resource are two books for students - Nga»toroirangi and Na»koloikalani. These retell the deeds of the Tu»wharetoa ancestor Nga»toroirangi and the Hawaiian ancestor Na»koloikalani, whose stories are linked. Teachers are provided with a support booklet for each of the stories. The accompanying website http://www.hana.co.nz/he_puia_he_iwi/ houses interactive versions of the two stories and downloadable versions of the teachersÆ material. The CD-ROM presents the web content, and an audio track of mo»teatea, oli (from HawaiÆi), and the stories being read aloud.
