    New Zealand troopship magazine. Housed in NZ troopship magazine box 3. Editors : Rev. J. J. Fletcher, Rev. H. G. Taylor, Sgt. M. Gomez. Includes who's who of senior officers, NZMC staff, NZDC staff, padres, YMCA staff. O.C. Troops Lt. Colonel F. K. Turnbull. The First Section of the 4th Reinforcements of 2NZEF (83 officers and 1404 other ranks) embarked at Wellington on 8 November 1940 for the Middle East in "Batory" and "Maunganui" (Union Company).

    The troops transferred to "Orion" at Sydney and arrived at Port Tewfik (Suez) on 16 December 1940.
