    New Zealand troopship magazine. Magazine of H.M.T.X.3, 2nd Echelon, NZEF., May 1940. Includes nominal roll of troops. The Second Echelon of 428 officers and 6410 other ranks sailed from Wellington on 2 May 1940, in "Aquitania" (Cunard Line), "Empress of Britain" and "Empress of Japan" (both Canadian Pacific liners) and was joined by the "Andes" which the previous day had embarked troops at Lyttelton. O.C. Troops H.M.T.X3 was Lieut.-Colonel L. W.

    Andrew and Ship's Commander C.H. Sapsworth.
