    New Zealand troopship magazine. Magazine of troops on board H.M.N.Z.T No. 83, 'Tofua'. Editor of souvenir no. Lt. C. Carncross. Includes nominal roll of ship's complement in souvenir number & page of signatures and addresses of some of troops. As transport no. 83 the "Tofua" (together with the "Turakina", no. 84) carried troops of the 25th Reinforcements. It departed New Zealand 26 April 1917 and arrived Plymouth 19 July 1917. O.C. Troops was Capt. T.

    Paterson and Ship's Master D. Todd. Catalogued from souvenir number. Handwritten at end of inside back cover in Kiwi OCR (2): "From Mr. N.M. Matheson, 8 Stanley St., Wgtn., Dec. 1919." Handwritten at end of page 4 in Kiwi_1n1 OCR (2): "From Mr. R. Constable, Dec. 1921."
