    New Zealand troopship magazine. Magazine of troops on board H.M.N.Z.T No. 68, 'Maunganui'. Souvenir number includes nominal roll of members of the 19th Reinforcement and the 3rd Tunnelling Corps, and includes material from nos. 1-6 and previously unpublished material. "Kia tupato" adopted as the name for the magazine because it was also the motto of the Reinforcement, meaning "beware" or "be vigilant". As transport no. 68 the T.S. "Maunganui" (together with the "Tahiti" no.

    69) carried troops of the 19th Reinforcement, departing New Zealand 15 November 1916 and arriving Plymouth 30 January 1917. O.C. Troops was Capt. H.C. Collett and Ship's Master Capt. L. Worrall.
