    Multi-trunked, multi-branched 7-8 m tall tree. Bark rough and peeling in small chunks. Many branchlets defoliated. Many divaricating, twiggy branchlets. Leaves mid-green, darker on top with hairy mid-rib below. Flowers waxy, shiny, sticky white, very sweet-scented, in clusters of 2 or 3. Habitat: midway down slope, just below track. Aspect: S.W facing, sheltered by large trees. Ex Eastwoodhill Arboretum Sep 2018
