Cultivated in sheltered site. Acaulous herb with glossy white bulb and abundantly produced small pinkish white bulbils. Leaflets shining above. Flowers usually in 2's. Pedicels reddish. Sepals c.5 mm long, elliptic, dark red, antrorsely hairy. Petals 1.7-2 cm long x 8-10 mm wide, rose with dark crimson veins; c.obliquely obovate. Filaments and
styles red. Grown from plant ex Winston's Nursery, Auckland.
