  • Field Collection Notes
    Low forest near cliff edge. Large shrub or small
    tree 2.5-3 m high, fairly dense habit. Old shoots
    and branches and trunk dark and blackish. Leaves
    glossy deep green above, less shining and paler
    beneath, undulate. Fruit immature creamy-green when
    collected, 4-5 mm diameter, globose, shining.
    Abundant but most plants sterile
