New Zealand, North Island, Auckland Ecological Region, Waitakere Ecological District, North Whatipu, just south of Parahara Point, near Parahara Stream

Field Collection Notes
First year in has been observed on the Whatipu sand
flats. Locally common in shallow, sandy-ponds
growing with Glossostigma and Triglochin.
Flower stalks up to 8 cm above the water, 2-lipped
yellow flower, lower lip 8.5 mm long; plants green;
many of the bladders +/-black, but some pale brown.
Another population observed on the northern side of
Pararaha Bay in a swamp near Tiriwa Point.
