Growing in burnt wet heathland along minor creek head. Tufted monocot with twisted often reddish leaves. Flowers yellow. Locally common. Ass. sp. include Melaleuca squarrosa, Baumea acuta, Patersonia occidentalis, Sprengelia incarnata, Sphaerolobium vimineum. Ex MEL (DUPs NSW, AK, CBG)
