    Rare. Two plants only, under the largest Pohutukawa grove, each c.3 m high and apparently vigorous. This specimen is a small side sprout. Subcanopy beneath c.8 m pohutukawa canopy. Subcanopy include common Pseudopanax ferox x P. lessonii, and less common species mapou, kawakawa, Carmichaelia.
