Tidal flat. Around tufts of rush on dried mud.
Stems prostrate or spreading. Plants c.mealy,
especially on lower surface of leaves, often
reddish-purple tinged, ie., stem and flowers.
Perianth of male flowers, 0.5-0.7 mm. Anthers rose.
