    Ear ornament (English)

  • Description

    Hakakai. Men's ear ornament. Carved from ivory. There is a white coloured thick and oval shaped piece attached to a honey yellow coloured, decorative and elaborately carved piece, also made from ivory, that consists of a row of figures with semi-circular motifs. There is a bar in-between the two pieces that joins the two together. Around the width of the oval shaped piece are two grooves and ridge. A small point also protrudes from out of the centre.
