    Worn on shoulder. Made from wood and pigment. Carved into an oval shape with a small oval hole at the centre. The front of the shield has bands of sunken relief of triangles. The shield has a cylindrical hole carved into the front to put an arm through. The reverse has a raised line down the centre and around the oval hole. The reverse is designed with applied pigments in white, blue, and red
