      Depleted tussockland dominated by turf-forming Rhytidosperma sp. with patches of Chionochlea ?rubra, Celmisia ?densifolia, C. armstrongii and C. aff. incana the only other prominent herbs. Possibly severely impacted by goats. Schist outcrops and boulders common throughout. On silt accumulated over boulders in small ephemeral waterway cut into herbfield, covered by luxuriant growth of Chionochloa rubra.
