      William Cruikshank of Napier married Amy Graham (born 1853), daughter of Robert Graham of Auckland. The service features the mottos and crests of the Graham and Cruikshank families

      "NE OUBLIE" with an eagle killing a heron is the motto and crest of the Duke of Montrose, head of the Graham family while "CAVENDO TUTUS" with an armoured hand holding a dagger is the crest of the Cruikshank family of Langley Park.
