    Common in ultramafic scrub. Growing with Leptospermum scoparium, Lepidosperma australe, Celmisia gracilenta s.s. and Baumea tenax. Erect form growing on serpentinite rock. Highly variable in this area, ranging from prostrate shrubs to small upright bushes 1 x 1 m like this collection. This specimen with bright yellow foliage (cf. AK 289184).
