Growing on very dry, ground under sparse Eucalyptus macrorhyncha and E. bridgessiana woodland. Small shrubs 1 x 2 m, with lignotuber, and appearing to spread by rhizomes, leaves grey-green when crushed smelling faintly of camphor (rather inspid). Flowers with numerous stamens, these arranged [3(+2) ap - 10, 12 as] x 5pe. Probable hybrid between K. peduncularis and K. phylicoides, showing floral and vegetative features of K. peduncularis and root stock and growth habit features of K. phylicoides.
