Occasional plants with B. salvifolia forming a significant part of canopy along c.300 m of overgrown bank. Shrubs 4-5 m tall. Possibly planted and site later abandoned, or garden remnants. Flowers honey-coloured with brown centres. A few adventitious stems sprouting a short distance away (< 1m) from the main trunks of plants, but from the same root stock as the main trunk. Some plants that had toppled over had 'layered' themselves where their branches rested on the ground
