    On steep, SW facing slope above NW side of track, growing with E. melanocaulon and E. pycnostachyum, Celmisia and Betula seedlings also present. Substrate composed of fine greywacke scree with fine sandy patches between larger, fragments. Habit: 3 plants present; small, clumped herb with leathery, shiny leaves, flowers present, both pink and white, although pink flowers fall off easily. Capsules bright red.
