silty slope below the road, growing with ragwort, grasses and Hieracium; very steep slope, unstable; E. brunnescens subsp. brunnescens in vicinity. Habit: creeping herb; round leaves with reddish margins; petiole to 4mm long; ovaries densely white-pubescent; stems mostly glabrous; leaves dull yellow-green; capsules nodding; ovaries erect..
