rocky riverbed; very dry and exposed; plants growing alone in shingle. Habit: creeping herb, reddish all over, green in shade; leaves swollen upwards, shiny, secondary veins not visible; flowers nodding, ~3mm across x 5mm long; capsules nodding, red-brown.
