    Locally common; spreading crown on 25cm caudex 30cm across. Fronds to >2m long, radiating stiffly at 45 degrees. Glossy above, and to a lesser extent below. In karaka, Coprosma chathamica, Plagianthus forest. Single frond 202cm long over 5 sheets (AK299204-08)
