      Several large plants (fronds to 21cm long) on base of 7m tall Coprosma chathamica. In wet, open, forest dominated by tall Dracophyllum arboreum & tree ferns; filmy fern locally abundant. "Bryophytes on base of specimen: Porella elegantula, sterile Frullania & sterile moss, not worth separating" JE Braggins, May 2007
