Small stand of kanuka growing amongst Chinese privet and hawthorn. This gathering of Kunzea aff. ericoides (b) which is here sympatric with K. aff. ericoides (e) and apparently hybridising with it. "Specimen with mostlly short to long, antrorse-appressed, hairs typical of K. aff. ericoides (b). Growth habit stated to be "normal, straight, erect, arborescent, not twisted by collector" (P. J. de Lange notes, 25 October 2007). Host of Korthalsella salicornioides.
