      Saxicolous on limestone bluff - growing threaded through Pellaea rotundifolia (AK 300988) rhizomes and roots near top of steep bluff arising out of extremely wet swamp forest. Aspect very dry, sunny - near top of bluff. Associated with Camptochaete deflexa. Sclerodontium with large, orange, alar cells.
