Occasional, in gap in forest strip around the foot of cliffs. Gap caused by large pieces of cliff crashing through the forest belt (to 10m across). The rocky disturbed area was dominated by nightshade, Senecio hispidulus, and fleabane; with occasional lush inkweed, catsear, native grasses (Elymus multiflorus and Dichelachne crinita), harebell (Wahlenbergia littoricola), mats of native spinach, a few clumps of native cyperus, and a single plant of poroporo
