  • Field Collection Notes
c.10 plants (over c.3m x 3m), two of which had clearly arisen from layering of a vine in the leaf litter. There were some very young plants which had arisen as seedlings from fruit dropping off the vines which have reached about 10 m above ground - up a young totara tree. I have now dug all the plants out. Half-way up the forested east facing slope along the stream; mixed broadleaf/podocarp forest with podocarps as a minor element. First seen here 7 May 2009
