      Habitat: disturbed forest. Slope: 30 deg. Soil: red clay. Plant type: tree. Height: 5 m. CBH: 42 cm. Flower: small, <2 mm, in clusters of 2 to 4 at leaf stem node. Bark is flaky and textured, seems to be exfoliating. [Marquesan name: tevai].
