    Uncommon - seen once - 4m tall tree growing amongst rawiri (Kunzea ericoides var. linearis) on side of stream. At time of collection tree partially dislodged by flooding and lying across portion of stream bed. Upper branches festooned in Lygodium articulatum. DNA voucher for University of Otago haplotype variation study.
