      Common. Growing partially to completely immersed on gabbro rock within a small fast flowing waterfall - associated with Fissidens integerrimus and Fissidens rigidulus var. rigidulus. Plants blackish-green when fresh. Identification confirmed by J.E. Beever 13 March 2011.
