On trunk of Ceratopetalum apetalum in warm temperate rainforest on alluvial terrace. Forest dominated by Ceratopetalum apetalum and Backhousia myrtifolia, with dense sward of Sticherus flabellatus and Blechnum wattsiana of forest floor.
Bronze green.
