Cultivated in lath shade houes [at] Lincoln, Canterbury, [from adventive material in the Kaueranga Valley].
Sprawling perennial herb. Leaves aromatic whan bruised, not lemon-scented. Flowers held ± horizontally. Corolla c.15 mm to apex of lower lip (the larger middle lobe of which = c.3 mm long), white; upper lip somewhat hooded pale mauve, bilobed.
