    12 Feb 2009
  • Field Collection Notes
Common low shrub along ridge track. " branchlet hairs antrorse appressed, to divergent, sparse (probably because of over mature branchlets in this collection); leaves linear-lanceolate, not very hairy; seeds without spiny protuberances. In some respects intermediate between K. robusta and K. salterae. Such forms are common on Tuhua and the adjacent eastern Coromandel coastline and often have pendulous branches, they warrant further study but for now are included in my concept of K. robusta. Tuhua has a range of K. robusta morphs and also K. salterae present. P.J. de Lange notes 6 November 2015".
