Field Collection Notes
Creeping herb over 50m2 along stream edges and wet areas of wetland. Flowers yellow. Amongst raupo, kikuyu grass, Mexican devil, buttercup, water cress, taro, Ludwigia palustrus and Lemna minor. Erythranthe moschata is in the NRC strategy as an eradication plant with only 2 known sites (the Pepi Rd site and a garden centre), however we now have this new biggish site at the Quarry Arts centre. It is definitely showing what it can do in Northern wetlands at this site.
