    Plants scattered on lightly shaded areas where forest floor was relatively clear of other plants. Widespread through covenant where habitat was suitable. Under canopy of rawiri (Kunzea robusta) with scattered Plagianthus regius subsp. regius, Nestegis cunninghamii.
