Field Collection Notes
Roadside verge of herbs and grasses. Taprooted herbs. FLowering stems to nearly a metre high. Stems with dark red bulbous-based hairs. Leaves with whitish midrib. Calyx reflexing, with red bands on outside of sepals. Petals 2.4 - 2.7 x 2.7 - 3cm, broad obovate, light yellow, emerginate. Common for a few hundred metres of roadside. ? once grown in the area.
