Locally common as a sward on the margins of the bridge (true right bank); amongst bracken, Hypericum androsaemum, Haloragis erects, kiokio fern, tutu, Japanese honesuckle, Crocosmia; otherwise surrounded by native forest Plants aromatic - minty; flowers pale pink. Also present on the open sharp corner of the acess track c.80 m from the bridge
