    New Zealand, North Island, Hauraki Gulf, Little Barrier Island (Huturu), "Dobbies" Knoll on summit ridgeline, NE of summit (near Kakapo Dobbie’s Track and Bowl 2, and Black Petrel burrow #54)

    18-20 plants, 1-1.5m tall. Shrubby area on top of knoll, slightly off track. With Weinmannia silvicola, Ixerba brexioides, Metrosideros umbellata, M. albiflora, Leucopogon fasciculatus, Phyllocladus toatoa, Gahnia sp. Growth form much branched. Specimen: 3 pieces from different plants, old capsules present on 1 piece. "M. albiflora characters: petioles 4-6mm; base of leaf blade being flat across to cuneate; and old capsules flask shaped. But doesn't agree with the lateral infructescence." EKC, 29 Jun 2017
